This image was from a personal project shot around an abandoned brick works in my city. Out of all the shots from that day, this was the best....but also the one that wasnt planned. As we were finishing up, the model walked over and leant against the window frame. As soon as I saw the sunlight popping through I got the idea. I quickly set up my portable falsh gun, in its cheap amazon umbrella on the otherside of the window fram,e and gave the model the baseball bat. One shot, and the battery died on us....but one shot was all we needed.
In post processing I added in the image of the city, matching up the sunlight with the flash, and that was it it, it blended perfectly. A little smoke painted in with a brush and we have our own apocalypse.
