New Zealand is home to some incredible scenery but if I had to choose one area to shoot Fiordland in the south west of the South Island would be it. Mitre Peak dominates the horizon at Milford Sound, and all I had to do to create the moody image I had in mind was to find a suitable foreground. These moss covered logs were exactly what I was after. This is a long exposure, shot at f/16 ISO 100 25 seconds with a 4 stop NiSi soft grad filter. Camera and lens details: Canon 5D Mark IV with EF 16-35 f/2.8L II.
