Farne Islands Puffin

The Farne Islands, particularly Inner Farne, are probably most well know for their Puffins. Their numbers grow to around 40,000 breading pairs during May and June.

Having never seen a Puffin in real life before it was quite a fascinating experience. They're so cute. Though they can fly they really can't land very well!
