Identical

This is a photo I took of a set of identical twins. They are the daughters of a pianist and a Russian violist. The girls were standing in the hallway in a church with a window to my right as I faced them. Their parents were in the next room over conducting a recital. I shot this image without any auxiliary lighting, only the window light to their left. The innocence and sweetness in their faces and their hugs left me touched and I wanted to capture the feeling of vulnerability they exuded.
