K is a young girl who my sons know from school. She is 13 years old in this image. This was taken as part of a hired photo shoot to produce senior photos. This was one of the last frames of the day taken in the fall as the sun was going down. The lighting is back lighting however my son held a large reflector to cast catch lighting in the eyes. He was off to my right as he and I faced her. I liked the subject's eyes but was not happy with earlier frames because the color and size of her eyes were not fully captured. So I directed my model to assume a slight tip down of her chin so as to cause her to have to look up thus enlarging her eyes. I also placed a scarf around her head that I thought might bring on the tones of her hazel eyes a bit.
