Joelle is a 13 year old girl that I have known since she was four years old. I have chronicled her change from girl to young woman through photos. Her face is unique to me and I love watching her grow. This image was taken in my back yard with the use of back lighting, my D610, lens 85 mm. I held a reflector with my feet (subject and I were sitting on the grass) while I took the photo up close to the subject's face.
