Meet Riyajuddin, a local silk weaver who works 5 hours a day 6 days a week earning only £5 a day approximately, which is a lot compared to other workers. Riyajuddin has been working as a weaver for many years and is one of the companies more experienced weavers because he can weave multiple colours by memory making mostly throws for centre pieces and scarves as well. The level of details was incredible and the machine he uses behind him was fascinating to watch while he operated it. I'll show you video footage in my vlog very soon 😊
Some of the throws require multiple persons to complete taking as long as 9 months to a year to complete a 2 meter throw!!! absolutely crazy
