The Spirit of CanWest

This image was inspired from the memories i’ve had as a Track & Field athlete competing in the Canada West conference while representing the University of Regina. Nothing compares to the excitment of the biggest university track meet on the calendar. Although an individual sport by nature, the Canwest championship seemily instils the essence of true team spirit into every athlete at the championship. Shouting and cheering at maximum lung capacity for two consecutive days usually results in lost voices but every rookie to senior athlete leave with no regrets, looking to return in a year’s time to do it all over again, from the track or the stands!
