I had the opportunity to photograph a special couple this past weekend. Avery & Brad are two individuals that I have photographed separately in the past with great results. When they started dating I knew I had to get them both in front of the camera to create something grand! This image was built with the intention to look like something straight out of an action movie.
To build this image I utilized a three light setup. The key light was a 43" Wesctcott Apollo to camera right fitted with a Nikon SB-600 at 1/4 power. To camera left was a Westcott 26" Rapid Box Octabox which served as a kicker to separate the car's engine from the background. It was outfitted with a Nikon SB-700 at 1/8 power. Finally a Westcott Ice Light was used in the dashboard to illuminate the drivers face.
Colour grading was then done in Adobe Lightroom 5.4 and minor detail replacement was done in Photoshop CS6.
