I feel a bit out of place in Australia. Life is good here, but the endless evergreen eucalypts from one end of the country to the other, and the rather drab olive greens leave me hankering for rich greens and bare-limbed trees like this. I often visit Tasmania for this reason, as masses of European trees have been planted there. This one is in a park in Launceston.
I particularly like the composition Chris, which contributes to the whole dynamics, as well as a nicely balanced contrast, in terms of processing. Well done!

I am really drawn to the simplicity of this Chris. The boughs form wonderful lead-in lines that add visual weight to the overall balance.

On the contrary since I am from India my first visit to Centarl park , NY left me quite shocked. long line of bare trees was a very depressing sight. But after some weeks when I revisited the Park I was overwhelmed by the colours of the trees.
