Australia's well weathered mountains are not spectacular by world standards, but I love staying near Dunkeld in the southern Grampians here in winter. After a decade of doing so, this image from last winter is my first that I felt began to capture some of the quiet majesty of this range. It depicts Mts Abrupt and Sturgeon at the southern end near Dunkeld.
