Protector or Angry God?

It always warms my heart to remember this day. A real gift in terms of images offered up by Mother Nature, with the ever-changing sky in early spring on the north coast of Tasmania.

At the often unpromising time of 2pm, She offered this vision of a cloud looming over an insignificant-looking fishing boat.

beautiful photo indeed

Thanks, Hanaa!

Love these low horizon images Chris!

Thanks, Ruth! I love a good sky. Guess I need to be careful not to lapse into cliché with this, but I've done it since I first started photography, largely inspired by a John Sexton image of Shiprock.

Chris, presently I think this is my favorite of your what I referred to as “Cloud images”. Although there are several contenders most of which are black & white images that I plan getting back to.

Thanks, Paul! Yes, I have done a cloud image, or two...

I've also been known to make a few or two also
