Winter Glow

The golden glow from the low winter sun strikes through the canyon at Kvernufoss on the south coast of Iceland. This spot is less visited compared to the next door waterfall Skogafoss. This is actually why I prefer Kvernufoss over Skogafoss. When you enter the canyon it’s like entering another world. You feel isolated but at peace! The water stream from the waterfall flows through the canyon which adds this sound of running water. This is a true Icelandic winter wonder!
