A short stroy of how I got this shot: waves were shore breaking, and I rode this wave out until it dropped me. What I didn't know, there was a rogue wave behind this and it demolished me. Slammed me hard, rolled me for a while underwater. I finally surfaced, and another smashed me immediately. Luckily I'm okay, kept my calm, and didn't fight the ocean. Did what I knew to minimize damage, and caught breaths very quickly in between getting trashed by the waves. Finally, the last wave washed me up to the shore where I finally was able to right myself and get off the break. And if you're wondering, yes, it was totally worth it.
