1936 Bugatti type 57SC Atlantic

The Atlantic was the production version of Jean Bugatti’s Aérolithe Coupe, which was unveiled at the 1935 Paris Auto Salon. The riveted flanges that join portions of the coachwork pay homage to aviation engineering and emphasize the all-metal construction of the body. This prominent motif merges art and technology into functional sculpture. Extreme beauty, exclusivity and the Bugatti mystique combine to make the Atlantic one of the most desirable cars of all time.
