Crisp snow sparkling on the mountain peaks and crunching under your feet always feels like winter magic. This shot was taken in the mountains of Tyrol, Austria after a heavy snow storm the previous night. Hiking up to the lake with snow shoes was a little challenging in the fresh now, but the sun came out just in time. The image is a blend of two exposures to recover the shadow areas and a third, long exposure, for the lake.
