A capture I took back in 2018 during a week long visit to the Faroe Islands. My third time at these epic and beautiful islands! On the second last day of the trip we took the old main road to Torshavn, which takes you up high in the mountains. Such remarkable views here! Unfortunately the weather was unbelievable bad, strong winds and a lot of rain. As usually at Faroe Islands, the weather suddenly changed and the light lid up the valley at Kaldbaksbotnur. I had our car stopped and I climbed further up the mountainside to find a decent composition, a little creek ended up as my foreground with the valley in the distance.
Such awesome light! Nice work, the composition is perfect!
