Gladiator

A gorgeous Spring morning in Tuscany, Italy. Some might recognize this gorgeous scene of a landscape! This exact spot was used in the Oscar Awarded movie Gladiator. The farmhouse on the hilltop belonged to the Roman General and Gladiator Maximus where he lived with his family. I had the theme song in my head all morning while roaming around in the area trying to find a good composition. The golden light from the sunrise came in perfect from the side creating some fantastic color play!
