The spring of 2020 was a very strange one, if I can put it that way. A very mild winter was followed by a very uncertain time which I never could have imagined. A lot of things were planned or on the best way to get rolling.
And then? Lockdown, social distancing and all the madness! Not that I have a problem with social distancing, don't get it wrong. I even love being alone, especially when I'm taking pictures.
But to see Zurich, the biggest swiss city, almost empty was a very strange feeling. I took this photo on April 12, 2020 for me as a kind of contemporary witness. After a short, fiery sunset with beautiful colors in the sky the clouds formed a dramatic formation. I immediately thought that this is exactly the right sky for the mood in spring 2020.
