The photo tour a few weeks ago was one that really knocked my socks off again!
To stand in front of this huge ice brought me on the one hand to happy whooping and at the same time I was simply speechless with fascination!
To see all these details in this thousands-year-old ice. I don't even know where to begin to tell... I am simply still speechless from sheer fascination!
What we also saw on the way to the glacier caves, were several markings, which showed with year numbers to where the glacier tongue reached in the respective year. With all the fascination for photographing these ice caves, it was also very frightening to see how far back the glacier has retreated and melted in a relatively short time.
