Canyon Overlook - Zion NP

Just before the tunnel in the Upper East Canyon section of Zion National Park there is a small parking area and a trail head. That trail leads you all the way to Canyon Overlook Point. The trail is amazing, with interesting views all along the way. I did this hike in the dark of morning to shoot sunrise and came back later the same day for sunset. This is my favorite image from Sunset, the clouds and light where spectacular. From here you can see many of the prominent landmarks of Zion from the Route 9 switchbacks, East Temple, and the Pine Creek Stream.
