Sunrise in black and white

Two young arctic foxes playing in the early morning while the sun is about to rise from the horizon. These animals is actually one of the most seriously endangered mammals in Norway.

A twenty-year decline in the mainland population appears to have been reversed as a result of the success of a captive breeding programme.

There is only about 150 arctic foxes in total in Norway atm, and when i was hiking around in the moutains of Dovrefjell National Park i was lucky enough to meet a mother with two puppies.
