Loneliness

Hiking in the mountains of Dovre in Norway makes it possible to meet the Musk Oxes in the wild.
It is actually the only area in Norway you can find them.
An really awesome experience to watch these beautiful animals live in this kind of harsh nature. Usually in the wintertime from October to April there is several meters of snow covering their food.

The population of the Musk Oxes in Norway is about 250 animals in total atm.

You need to take it easy around these animals, and dont walk upclose to them once you find them. Use your time, let them know you are there, act slowly and make it step by step from there. And of course, remember to keep good distance, becouse they are fast, really fast, and goes from 0 to 60 km/h in only two seconds.
