I captured this scene along the road in the Icelandic highlands back in August. It was one of those moments where the light made the scene interesting and worth capturing.
The low angled light from the rising sun found its way through the clouds and painted the mountainside with golden patches of light.
I really like the idea that the water from the waterfall must come from the snow patches further up the mountain. Perfectly aligned as well.
