Vancouver Island is home to many remote oases, and this particular canyon is one of my favorites. During the hottest day of the year, this deep canyon was an absolute paradise. What was close to 38 degrees Celsius outside, this canyon was half that. The constant flow of cold air from the surrounding caves and the ice-cold river kept me cool as I explored the surrounding regions. I'm looking forward to returning to this location this summer.
I hope you enjoy it!
