Iceland - Geldingadalur

Geldingadalur, Iceland, 20201

To be honest, I'm surprised that neither the camera nor the tripod were singed. At that time it was raining and you should have gotten wet quickly, but the 800 ° C hot lava made you dry again just as quickly 😅 What a great experience. I actually want to go straight back and watch the lava flow. Un-fuc * ing-believable

Wow! Well composed. The story this tells is amazing! Your lens choice and foreground decisions were ON POINT! Great job!

thank you so much chris :) glad you like it . it was quite an experience

I love this pic. Very dramatic. I love what you have done with the colour. Love the glow in the lava in the foreground. Very happy image.

thanks a bunch chris !

I'm peanut butter and jealous!

xDDD thanks a bunch aaron :-D glad you like it

Outstanding!

Jean Claude, great image, nice to finally see a photograph of Geldingadalur as a more traditional landscape image.
I think you can get a little more contrast in the central area basalt, mask out the orange lava and the majority of everything else except the large grayish glob and play with it some, just a suggestion.
