Distant Traveler

Flashfloods are caused by a relatively high amount of precipitation in a short period of time on soil that cannot absorb the abundant water.
The Dead Sea, located in an area of arid climate, is prone to such flash flooding during winter time.
The raging water may travel great distance trough deep canyons in the desert, sweeping everything in its path.
This log was carried by one of the recent floods into the Dead Sea, laying in a perfect composition on the beautiful salt plates.
