Located at the end of Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park, this is a sacred place for the Stoney Nakoda First Nations. While it is named Spirit Island, it is not a true island but rather a peninsula. I took a 1.5 hour boat tour to reach this place and was only given 15 minutes to stay on the island for photo opportunities. Fortunately, the weather conditions were good at the time and I was able to take away some decent shots.
