The Crossing

At Yellowstone National Park, in Septermber 2019, an early morning fog bank embraced the Yellowstone River at Fishing Bridge. The first sliver of sunlight gave the fog a rich glow. Then, through the breaking fog, a bull elk guided his family into the flowing river from the east bank to the west, looking back occasionally to make sure everyone was alright. 2 minutes later they were gone.
