Storm clouds surround Oia and its iconic windmills in Santorini, one of the most fascinating islands of the Aegean Sea.
The Aegean islands are (in)famous among photographers for having flat sunny blue skies almost every day. However, during my stay, I experienced really dramatic and atmospheric conditions every sunset and sunrise, which transformed such an iconic place into something truly unique.
To create this image, I blended an early golden hour illuminating the white-wash buildings of Oia, to a later sunset when the sky exploded in drama and texture.
