If some places were designed to be photographed, then Seiser Alm in South Tyrol is definitely one of them.
Alpe di Siusi is one of my favorite places in the Italian Dolomites.
Reaching this location takes at least one hour walk from Compatsch, but in the end, you are rewarded with a real wonderland.
At sunrise, it has a very unique atmosphere. The rolling hills are lit by the side light, and the soft morning mist creates depth and mystery in the distant mountain group of Sassolungo.
