I was driving to a different destination when it started to show heavily. I knew that the show would help generate the sensation that the woods disappear into the mist, so I parked the first available spot. I had about 5 minutes until it stopped snowing.
The odd title refers to the 3 trees in front that brings associations to an adult and 2 children ready to venture into the woods, and the broken branch could be a dog on a leash.
The photo won 2 gold medals in 2022. One in the Color Prints category in the Danish National Championships, and at the 7th Nordic Circuit. Those two medals along with two HMs at the 7th Nordic was a huge confidence boost, and a cure for my slight imposter syndrome.
