The Shipyard

As I was at the shipyard on a very foggy day the main thing that caught my eye was the color of the boat stands and the boat in contrast to a completely grey environment.

What the camera sees is not what the eye sees; and the concrete ground was way more colorful than how I experienced it when I was there.

The image was edited quite heavily to faithfully reproduce the experience I felt when at the scene; a few colorful objects in a grey environment; where everything disappears into the mist in the distance.

While this composition is a little tight on the bottom, it's edited for large print, and at 60x120cm it's just perfect.
