Red Sky in Morning
I decided to get up early for sunrise during a recent trip to the Outer Banks. There were supposed to be storms later in the day so I was hoping for an interesting sky in the morning. The colors did not last long during sunrise, but they lasted long enough for me to take a long exposure to get the clouds streaking across the sky. This was taken at the beach behind the Sanderling Resort in Duck North Carolina. Thanks for looking!
Thank you for this image, I love it! The horizontal symmetry line, checked by the strong diagonals which pusn the weight of the image to the left. The simple yet strong color contrast between the sky and the sea. The parallell between the striped clouds and the motion lines of the wave. This is a strong and complex, yet very simple, image.
