The term "Blue Moon" is typically used to refer to the occurrence of two full moons within a single calendar month and when the Blue Moon is coinciding with the closest approach to Earth (the Perigee) it is called as a Supermoon - even rarer.
Although not quite Supermoon as yet, the alignment was perfect with the twelth century victory tower - Qutab Minar in Delhi on the 29th of Aug.
