Traveling through a desert in summer, in the middle of a heat wave for the local people, can become a long-lasting adventure, to say the least. And that was exactly what happened to us on our trip to the White Desert of Egypt, temperatures above 45 degrees during the day, and small oases in the middle of nowhere, where we could take refuge under a friendly shade, we were lucky to have some exceptional guides who knew every corner of that vast landscape. The days became a little hard and a little long, but when the sun began its descent towards the horizon, everything began to improve, that was when I took out the camera and began to move between the sand furrows and those picturesque white formations.
Today I share with you one that I did shortly before sunset during the last days of the trip.
