Devils View

We're still in aurora season, and many people can enjoy this amazing show in areas near the Arctic. I'm glad that's the case, since we share the same excitement for witnessing them—from that unforgettable first display to the final one.

For me, 2025 has been challenging in terms of aurora sightings, as the weather hasn't cooperated in either Lapland or Lofoten. Although we've managed to see and photograph them, perhaps not as much as I would have liked or as in previous years.

Today, I'm sharing one of the photos taken last year in Senja, captured in a very natural way. We were dining in our RV just a few meters from the phenomenon, without feeling the chill, and with only two other photographers joining later. It was a comfortable, hassle-free night, and I enjoyed it like a little child.
