Perhaps the beauty of the Lofoten Islands lies in the idealization of a completely snowy dream landscape, where impossible mountains are surrounded by rivers and the sea itself.
Visiting this environment, within the Arctic Circle, is quite a challenge; Understanding the weather, knowing the environment, the places, knowing when and where to go, ends up becoming a game whose rules change as quickly as the weather.
Every year, around this time, hundreds of photographers make a pilgrimage to this place in order to photograph the immensity of these winter landscapes and with a little luck, let the northern lights illuminate our dark nights of the new moon.
This could have been one of the best moments of last year's photography trip, where fortune aligned with us and gave us this moment.
