Cotton Candy Trees

There is little time left to return to Lapland.
Going to this region of Finland is becoming an annual pilgrimage for me; every January, we start the year there.
This year I will return with two good friends, and, although the snow forecast is not as good as last year, hope is the last thing to be lost, and even more so being in an Arctic region, where the chances of seeing the northern lights are quite high, where the high solar activity of the last few months encourages you to go out and travel kilometers during the night in search of that clearing in the sky.
We return to the cold, to those -25 degrees that freeze the inside of your nose, we return to the snow, to the snowshoes, and to try to see those trees well loaded with snow that look like cotton candy trees.
