An early morning visit to a local tidal marsh yield several dew laden dragonflies. Slowly and carefully I navigated the the channels of tall grass to my best positioned subject. Within several feet I set my camera on the tripod and began composing different images with the appropriate lens moving closer and closer till finally I was attaching my 50mm macro and entered my subject’s world up close and personal. Carefully moving in and shifting angles caring not to disturb it or the dew covered grass.
