As a friend, coworker, and fellow photographer explored the canyons of southwest Utah. Our paths split shortly after we began our exploits that morning. Even through our photographic style were as different as night and day, the two sides of a coin they were please with find of the morning.
I chose this environment portrait composition rather than approaching closer for not only an inferior image but out of respect of the owl, not wanting to disturb it.
