Carrizo Plain National Monument Super Bloom 2019

I have been to this National Monument several times. This image was captured on my first trip there. The dried up tumbleweeds had been piled up here by the wind, yet new life was in full bloom. The San Andreas Fault is just past the risen earth in the background.
