This was shot at a local airport after a small plane with two people onboard crashed upon landing and skidded into a hangar. There were no survivors. The fire department engineer stepped away from the gauges on the side of his fire engine to look at the scene and the rescue efforts, which I thought made for a compelling image.
Camera used was a Nikon D7000, but I can't remember which lens I used for it. Settings were 1/60sec at f/2.8 and ISO 2000.
