The church and vicarage in the small village of Viðareiði on the Faroe Islands. The population in Viðareiði is 3-400 and it is the northernmost settlement in the Faroe Islands.
My father was married in the church a couple of years ago and after the wedding I asked the priest about the vicarage, which is said to be haunted. She told me that when she moved in, the children in the village used to walk on the roof at night, trying to scare her. It might not be haunted, but it has its charm.
I took this photo after having walked in the mountains that surround Viðareiði. I had not planned on taking a photo of the church, but when I drove past it, I noticed how nice the light was and made a quick stop.
