A static photo, a standing pose, where the columns on the side were decisive for me to photograph this photo in portrait mode, to make it appear even more static.
I don't think it is necessarily important that Jacob looks out of the photo in this photo, where it is often said that there should be an empty space there.
I do think it is important to touch the viewer's curiosity by having Jacob look out of the image, where as a viewer you do not know what to see.
Not telling the whole story, I see it as a cliffhanger does in a movie. Just leave a viewer in the dark.
