Against The Wind / Death Valley Sandstorm

When the wind blow here it can last a couple of hours to several days. They can gradually build from a breeze to a gale or even hurricane force, or rage down a mountain canyon or pass a hit in the blink of an eye.

I can't imagine being out there with my "precious camera gear"! But I certainly have seen this many times firsthand and felt the stinging sand hitting my cheeks!
