I didn’t have long with this flower, already mid-morning when I found this scattered patch of these flowers. Immediately I surveyed them, looking for the most interesting subject, since a group photo was out of the question as they were too few and widely scattered.
Not too soon at that. Working fast as far as selection, my approach and basic framing. I made several slightly different compositions as the desert air began to stir. The last few compositions I had to engage the multi frame burst mode, but once it started to exceed the camera’s buffer speed, I packed it up. My only other option was to switch to just jpegs and resort to a spray and pray mode. Due to the large delicate nature of these flower’s petals, the method would of had a low to no yield success rate.
