First Light - Everglades / Yellow Crowned Night Heron

Roosting in the outer branches of a mangrove island in Florida Bay. Initially too shaded for any acceptable photograph I stuck my paddle into the mucky bottom as a basic anchor and hung-out for a few minutes waiting for the sun.
