I'm always trying to find different and creative ways to capture a silhouette along with keeping detail in the foreground to add to the mood.
When I first positioned the light behind the fountain and placed the bride & groom directly in front, I couldn't get enough detail of the couple. I was going to add a second light, however I felt that it would take away from the overall photo.
So, I positioned the couple just to the right of the fountain and pointed the strobe through the water, which gave ample separation between the couple and the fountain. The sun had just set so there was still some colors in the sky; that along with the lighting from the venue... a masterpiece!
