While I was working this image for a contest deadline I began experimenting looking to give it a unique experience for viewers. The place “Tunnel View” Yosemite National Park, the fans or Ansel Adams Pilgrims, people from all over the world stop here wether they know of Ansel or not.
I decided to render the view as a black and white in homage to all Ansel’s and fans images made here and kept the human elements color due to the presents of a continual flow of visitors.
Original transparency film, custom scam on a dedicated film scanner at the optical DPI of 3200. , save a a DNG file. Processed with Adobe Camera Raw, fine tuned with photoshop.
